Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?
Tickets must be purchased in advance, and tours often sell out quickly. To maximize your chances of getting the day and time you prefer, please book well in advance. Tickets can only be purchased with a Visa or Mastercard.
Which photo tour is right for me?
Each photography tour has a different focus and style, depending on the logistics and location. They all have clever photography tips that will guarantee you are capturing great images at each location. Some are almost exclusively devoted to landscape photography or architectural photography; others have a combination of natural history and culture.
What kind of camera should I bring?
Bring your camera of choice including your smartphone camera. DSLR, point and shoot, cellphone camera – all are welcome!
How much walking and standing is involved?
We’ll be standing and walking around sidewalks, grassy areas and going back and forth between buildings. The distance is just under a mile. Plan on bringing comfortable shoes!
What happens if it rains?
The tours are held rain or shine. We ask that you make sure to check the weather on the day of your tour and dress appropriately (bring an umbrella if necessary).
Do we go inside any buildings?
Yes, we do. We go inside the courthouse on this tour.
Can I bring my child along?
Yes, children are welcome on the tour. If you are bringing any children under the age of 10, they can attend for free as long as they are accompanied by a paid ticket holder.
If a tour is sold out, can I get on a waiting list?
Unfortunately, we do not have a waiting list. If the time slot you’d like is sold out, we suggest you check another date/time for availability!
Are photo tours conducted in English?
Yes, tours are conducted in English. However, we are able to offer Private Group Tours in Spanish as well! Please click on the “Contact EyeSeeSB” link for information about private tours.
Do your tours have anything to offer local residents?
Absolutely! Many of our guests live right in Santa Barbara, while others come from the many small towns throughout the county. Our modern day lives are so busy, that few of us actually have the time to rediscover our hometown!
Can I bring food, drinks and/or snacks?
Absolutely! You are more than welcome to bring anything you’d like to consume. Please just bear in mind, we will be on the move for the tour and it may prove difficult to eat some items.
Does the tour start and end at the same location?
Yes.
Are restrooms available?
Yes. They are available at all stops along the tour.
Is the tour handicap accessible?
Unfortunately, this tour involves a good deal of walking and may not be suitable for wheelchairs or strollers. As such, we do not recommend this tour for folks with limited mobility.
Is smoking allowed?
No. We ask that you hold off until after the tour has ended.
Are dogs/pets allowed?
Yes, you are more than welcome to bring your furry friends along if you would like and they do serve as interesting photo pieces. However, please keep in mind they may also prevent you from entering certain locations on the tour.
Is there parking available nearby?
Yes, there is free parking at the meeting location.
Are gift certificates available?
Yes! Our gift certificates make wonderful stocking stuffers, housewarming gifts, they’re terrific for someone moving into the area, make great employee recognition gifts, and are always nice for a fun and romantic afternoon with that someone special.

 

 

Can I book a private tour?
